So Who is Alivia Sobey?

Twenty-three, obsessed with all things marketing, art, and lifestyle, I work hard to offer my clients and community a uniquely valuable experience through my photography and content strategy development.

I started my photography journey a little over seven years ago. Since then my style, technique, and interests have greatly changed. One thing that hasn’t changed? The joy that photographing others bring. It's around this joy, the joy of highlighting the beauty in others, the joy of capturing love through images, the joy of portraying another’s value, that I have built the foundation of my services.

Being photographed can be challenging for some, and a breeze for others. Tending to fall into the former category, I’ve designed the process to be as comfortable and fun as possible.

Over at Alivia Sobey Photography, we (me and my clients) don’t settle for an awkward posed smile, simply holding hands with your significant other and saying “cheese”, or quickly snapping some photos of you in a suit for your website.

No, I want to get to know you; what you love, why you love, what inspires you… what makes you DANCE. It might seem silly but it’s how I keep the photos real.

My job isn’t to recreate you, it’s to bring out and capture the best of you!
