Portrait Sessions Q&A:
What type of session qualifies as “portrait”?
Essentially any session photographing a single person qualifies as portrait! This includes senior photos, maternity, boudoir, and headshots.
Maybe you just want to treat yourself or someone else to some great photos and a great experience, I always love shooting “for fun” photo sessions.
What’s included in a portrait session?
Each session is customizable to you! I offer basic session packages starting with one hour coverage and upwards of 30 photos. After choosing your package we can schedule a before hand in person or over the phone consultation where we will work together to design your perfect session!
I’ve never been professionally photographed before, what should I know?
You don’t need to be a “model” to be photographed. So often I hear people use “I’m not photogenic” as the reason holding them back from booking their shoot. Trust me, I get it! I don’t consider myself photogenic either but that’s not what my photoshoots are about. You are not alone and that’s the most important thing to know when booking with me. I am here to assist you every step of the way: locations, outfits, poses, nerves, what ever you need. Feeling stressed about makeup the day before? Hold on… I’ll send you my favorite tutorials.
The only thing you need to know is that I want you to reach out at any point of the process about anything you may have questions or need help with (or just to share how excited you are!).
Can I see some examples of portrait sessions?
Of course! Here are just a few examples of portrait photos taken in different locations throughout the year.
